Preserves & Parks

While government has shouldered much of the responsibility for setting aside more parks/preserves, individuals have a role to play.  Several states and counties face severe fiscal challenges, and in such times individual consumers and philanthropists have an expanded role to play.   Two examples of an emerging model of conservation that fuses both the public and the private are found in the United States and Europe.  Take a look at www.naturalengland.org  and www.naturalnebraska.org.
